Valuables worth Rs. 5.25 lakh stolen from house

Mysore/Mysuru: Thieves broke into a house and decamped with articles worth Rs. 5.25 lakh including Rs. 5,000 cash at Nadanahalli coming under Alanahalli Police Station limits in city recently.

The incident had occurred at the house of Gurusiddaiah, when the family members had                         gone outside.

According to Gurusiddaiah, he had told his second son to lock the house and keep the key on a brick on the premises. When he (Gurusiddaiah) returned home, he found the valuables stolen. The valuables included 30-gram Avalakki chain, 20-gram bangle, 8-gram chain, 2 finger rings weighing 7 grams, 4-gram Lakshmi earring, 11-gram gold chain, silver lamps and kumkum box, all totalling 150 grams.

Alanahalli Police have registered a case.
