Mysuru: Former Chamaraja Congress MLA Vasu campaigned for Mysuru-Kodagu LS Constituency coalition candidate C.H. Vijayashankar in several localities of Chamaraja Assembly segment on Sunday.

Vasu, who launched the campaign by taking out a padayatra in MCC Ward 26, appealed the people to vote for Congress candidate C.H. Vijayashankar.

Explaining the achievements of the Congress-led UPA Government when it was in power at the Centre, Vasu expressed hope that the people would vote for the Congress candidate this time.

He made an appeal to the electorate to bless Vijayashanakar, who was a two-term                                   MP earlier.

Vasu was accompanied by Mayor Pushpalatha Jagannath, KPCC Women’s Wing President Dr. Pushpa Amarnath, former Corporator Suhail Baig, former Deputy Mayor Pushpavalli, former Corporator Prashanth Gowda, leaders Sundar Kumar, Tippu and others.
