M.G. Vasudeva Rao (79), retired photographer at the Zoology Department, University of Mysore and a resident of Bogadi, passed away this morning in city following a heart attack.

A native of Udupi, he leaves behind his wife, three children, sister, six brothers and a host of relatives and friends.

After his retirement, Vasudeva Rao took to wildlife photography and was an active member of Krishna Mitra Mandali. Late actor Shivaram was his wildlife photography partner.

Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill, this afternoon.
