Veena Concert to mark Veene Seshanna Day

Mysore/Mysuru: Ganabharathi, Mysuru, has organised Veena Concert by Vidu. Geetha Ramanand on the occasion of Veene Seshanna Memorial Day tomorrow (Nov. 4) at 6 pm at Veene Seshanna Bhavan in Kuvempunagar here.

She will be accompanied by Vid. Adamya on mridanga and Vid. G.S. Ramanujan on ghata.

The concert is sponsored by Vid. Mysuru V. Subramanyam, according to a press release from C.G. Ravishankar, EC Member, Ganabharathi. [Mob: 94483-23234]

Vidu. Geetha Ramanand is an Akashvani and Dooradarshan top grade artiste. She began her musical journey at a very early age under Guru Ranganayaki Sundarrajan. She has done Masters in Music from University of Mysore. Vidu. Geetha practiced veena under Vid. R.N. Doreswamy, Prof. R. Vishveshwaran, Vidu. A.S. Padma and Vid. C. Krishnamurthy.

She has completed bright five decades in her musical journey and trained many students. She has performed in various prestigious platforms and has been awarded by many organisations.
