Vice-President polling begins

Results this evening

New Delhi: The voting process for the election to the office of the Vice-President of India got underway here today.

According to Election Commission schedule, the polling which started at 10 am will end at 5 pm. The counting of votes will be taken up later and the results are expected to be announced by 7 pm.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was among the early voters. Among others NDA nominee M. Venkaiah Naidu, a Rajya Sabha member, came to exercise his voting right.
