Vidyuth-2017 plays host to Dog Show

Mysuru  – Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE) had organised a dog show this morning where best breeds of dogs were showcased as part of Vidyuth-2017 fest.

As many as 98 dogs of various breeds including Doberman, Siberian Husky, Labrador, Golden Retriever, Pug, Great Dane, German Sheppard, Rottweiler, Dachshund, Saint Bernard, Cocker Spaniel, Akita, German Feist, American Bully, Miniature Pinscher, Pit Bull, Beagle were displayed.

The dogs were judged based on their walking style, obeying their owners, skin, standing position and health. A total of five prizes in different categories and one prize for the puppy will be awarded. The results will be announced today evening.

The event also witnessed kennel owners selling puppies of various breeds at the venue. A few stalls were also seen selling pedigree and other items. Organisers had also invited veterinarians Dr. Sanjeev Murthy and Dr. Arun to treat the dogs in case of any emergency.
