Vijayanagar 2nd Stage roads crying for attention

February 13, 2022

The main connecting roads in Vijayanagar 2nd Stage are in a pathetic condition. The High Tension Road (Trinetra Circle to Ring Road, parallel to Vidyavardhaka College to Ring Road) and Kannada Sahitya Parishat Road are unmotorable.

These roads provide main connectivity to many other areas and thousands of motorists commute on this route.

Many concerned citizens have voiced their opinions umpteen times through your columns but all have fallen on deaf ears. The horrendous roads and negligence from the authorities continues. Probably they are waiting for a casualty or someone to start a dharna on the potholed roads.

Hope the authorities concerned will act at least now.
