The much-needed space for sportspersons and evening walkers in Vijayanagar Stadium is now encroached and disturbed by mindlessly allowing vehicles inside the stadium campus.

Since a new private gym started operating in the public space (through tender, as informed), the gates have been kept wide open for vehicles to reach till the doorstep of the gym.

It was a very peaceful space for elderly and children to move around the stadium which is now frequented by swanky vehicles and haphazardly parked two-wheelers.

Add to that, the community hall (bang in front of the stadium) visitors who can now conveniently barge into the stadium and utilise the space for parking, so convenient!

I request the authorities to retain earlier system and immediately stop allowing private vehicles inside the stadium. Give some space for health-conscious citizens too.
