Village Accountant suspended for illegal khata

Mysuru: Deputy Commissioner (DC) D. Randeep has suspended Immavu Village Accountant N. Venkatesh on charges of making illegal khata to some villagers by faking  documents.

Venkatesh has been accused of creative fake records and making illegal khata in respect of some lands coming under Survey Nos. 350 to 422 and 424 of Immavu  village in  Nanjangud taluk.

As venkatesh did not respond to the notice served on him asking to explain his action, the DC on Oct.23 ordered his suspension, pending Departmental enquiry.
