Vishnu, SPB, Rajan-Nagendra Memorial Musical Evening tomorrow

Mysore/Mysuru: Several organisations have come together to pay homage to movie legends through music by organising a Musical Evening in memory of Kannada cine star Dr. Vishnuvardhan, gifted singer Dr. S.P. Balasubrahmanyam (SPB) and well-known music directors Rajan-Nagendra. 

The Musical Evening will be held at Sarada Vilas Centenary Hall in Krishnamurthypuram tomorrow (Dec. 27) from 5.30 pm to 9.30 pm.

Addressing a press meet at Pathrakartara Bhavan on Thursday, Founder of Pathi Foundation M.D. Parthasarathy said, Pathi Foundation in association with production team of upcoming feature film ‘Nanna Hesaru Kishor – 7 pass 8’, Jeevadhara Blood Bank and Parisara Snehi Tanda has organised this musical evening where young talented singers will render hits of these legendary personalities.

MLAs G.T. Devegowda and L. Nagendra, MUDA Chairman H.V. Rajeev, City BJP President Srivatsa and Mayor Tasneem will be the chief guests. Achievers in various fields including Shankara Narayana Shastri (Religious Service), Jaggappa (Art), N.M. Naveen Kumar (Social Service), Nazarbad Nataraj (Social Service), B. Doreswamy (Theatre), Maheshwaran (Print Media), K.P. Nagaraj (Visual Media), Mahendra Singh Kalappa (Social Service), Muthanna (Health Service), Suresh Babu (Health Service) and Dasharath (Social Service) will be felicitated on this occasion.

Jeevadhara Blood Bank Director Girish, KMPK Charitable Trust President Vikram Iyengar and Parisara Snehi Tanda President D. Lohit were present.
