Chikkaballapur: Home Minister Ramalinga Reddy said here yesterday that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the murder of journalist Gauri Lankesh had ‘definite clue’ and has identified those who carried out the murder!

Speaking to press persons, Reddy said that “we have got vital clues about the killers, but are waiting to get proper evidence before we proceed.”

Pointing out that it is a high profile case, he said that the investigators are ensuring there’s concrete evidence so that the same stands in Court.

Meanwhile, Oct.5 will mark one month since the killing of Lankesh, Editor of ‘Gauri Lankesh Patrike,’ outside her home in Bengaluru. She was gunned down by an assailant wearing a helmet on the evening of Sept.5
