Vocal concert at Nadabrahma tomorrow

Sri Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha has organised Smt.Lakshmamma & M.V. Venkatadasappa Memorial Concert on June 22 (Saturday) at 6 pm at Mysore K. Vasudevacharya Bhavana on JLB Road.

Vidushi Y.G. Srilatha will be presenting a vocal concert for the above endowment, sponsored by late M.V. Ramachandra Rao. She will be accompanied by M.V. Viswajit on violin, Sunil Subrahmanyam on mridanga  and C.A. Raghunandan Rao on ghata.

Multifaceted Vocalist, Veena Artist, Bharathanatyam Dancer and Engineer Vidu. Y.G. Srilatha from Bengaluru is the daughter of Vidu. Y.G. Parimala and Y.G. Sampathkumar. Srilatha is a versatile artiste and an ardent disciple of Bharathanatyam, Karnatak Classical Vocal and Veena. She had her initial training from her mother. Being trained by eminent Gurus Vid. Madurai  T.N. Seshagopalan, Vidu. Neela Ramgopal, Vid. M.T. Selvanarayan, Vidu. Vasantha Madhavi (vocal), Dr. Vidu. Suma Sudhindra on Veena and Guru Karnataka Kalashree Revathi Narasimhan in Bharathanatyam, Srilatha has taken to the art forms as her first passion.

She has completed Proficiency (Vidwat-Final) exams in all these with distinction. She performed her Arangetram in Bharathanatyam at age 15. A recipient of State Government scholarships and numerous awards and prizes, she has completed her Master of Technology in Digital Signal Processing with distinction from Jain University, Bengaluru.
