Ganabharathi has organised a Karnatak vocal concert by Vid.  T. V. Ramaprasadh on Mar.15 at 6 pm at Veene Seshanna Bhavana in Kuvempunagar. He will be accompanied by Vidu. Kalpana Venkat on violin, Vid. Calcutta Aravind on mridanga and Vid. Bhargava Halambi on Khanjira.

Profile: Vid. T.V. Ramprasadh is a highly distinguished, Karnatak vocalist and guru today. An exemplary artiste of soul and substance, Ramprasadh is noted for his deeply original and mellifluous music rooted in tradition and classicism. An empanelled artiste of ICCR, Government of India and an A-grade artiste of All India Radio, he has enthralled audiences worldwide for 38 years.

A visionary and passionate teacher with over 29 years experience, he is the Founder of eAmbalam — the World’s First Online College of Indian Arts & Wellness. Under his mentorship, Ambalam has touched the lives of  almost 30,000 students across 24 countries. A senior disciple of legends like Padma Bhushan P. S. Narayanaswamy, Sangita Kalacharya S. Rajam, Sangita Kalanidhi T. V. Gopalakrishnan and R.R. Keshavamurthy, he is the recipient of numerous major awards such as: Best Vocalist award by the Madras Music Academy; All India Best Karnatak Singer by Sangeetayan, New Delhi; Asthaana Vidwan of the Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam, Kanchipuram; Gana Kala Shree from the Karnataka Gana Kala Parishath; Gaayana Gandharva by Delhi Kannadiga Sangha; Gaanakala Vishaarada by Karnataka Cultural Association of Southern California, Los Angeles.
