VVIPs visit Chamundi Hill

Mysuru:  Thousands of devotees, visitors and tourists thronged atop Chamundi Hill this morning a day after Jumboo Savari procession last evening.

Union Minister of Civil Aviation Suresh Prabhu, the 29th Chief Justice of High Court of Karnataka Justice Dinesh Maheshwari, High Court Justice B.V. Nagarathna and other  prominent personalities also visited the temple.

Visitors from neighbouring Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala and Tamil Nadu visited the temple in large numbers to seek the blessings of Goddes Chamundeshwari, the presiding deity of the city besides to see the beauty of the hills. Various artistes who had taken part in Dasara Cultural Troupes also paid visit to temple in huge numbers.    

Police made all arrangements for free flow of traffic and parking of vehicles for a hassle-free VIP movement.
