Winners of District-level ‘Know Your Constitution’ contest

Mysore/Mysuru: Karnataka State Legal Services Authority (KLSA), Mysuru and Department of Public Instructions, Mysuru, had jointly organised a District-level ‘Know Your Constitution’ competitio for High School students at Government Maharani Teachers Training Institute on Narayana Shastry Road in city recently.

In all, 116 students from various schools across the district participated in several contests. The awards for the winners were distributed by Principal District and Sessions Judge M.L. Raghunath, District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Member-Secretary Devaraja Bhute and Deputy Director of Public Instruction (DDPI) Ramachandra Raje Urs.

Prize Winners

Debate contest: G. Priyanka of Yarahalli Government High School in H.D. Kote (first) and Navyashree of Rangasamudra Govt. High School in T. Narasipur (second).

Essay contest: R. Spoorthi of Attahalli Govt. High School in T. Narasipur (first) and K.P. Hithashree of Joseph High School in Hunsur (second).

Quiz contest: Tejaswi of B.C. Halli Govt. High School in T. Narasipur and Aryan of Adarsha Vidyalaya in Sosale (first); Vinay of Attigodu Government High School in Periyapatna and Narsala troupe (second).

Drawing contest: M. Jeevan of Tadimalangi Govt. High School in T. Narasipur (first) and B. Sinchana of JSS High School, South Zone (second).

Slogan contest: Amulya of Karimuddana Halli Government High School in Hunsur (first) and Faiza Anjum of Good Shepherd School, North Zone (second).
