Winners of Eid Meelad-un-Nabi cricket tournament

Mysore/Mysuru: Moon Star Cricket Team emerged winners in Season-6 of the Eid Meelad-un-Nabi Cricket Tournament organised by Mysore Meelad Cricket Association at Pavilion Ground, University of Mysore, here recently.

A total of 24 teams participated in the tournament in which Moon Star Cricket Team emerged as the winners and N.S. Royal Team bagged the runners up spot.

 In the final match held on Sept. 25, N.S. Royals had set a target of 150 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs and Moon Star Team, chased the target and scored 153 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. Muzamil of Moon Star hit a six in the last ball to seal the victory.

Salman was declared ‘Man of the Match’.

The winning Moon Star Team comprised of Zameer (Captain), Mohammed Taha, Imran, Manjunath, Stalin, Kafeel, Kifayath, Muzamil, Salman, Akram, Abbas, Yasin and Mufeed.
