Prasiddhi Bhat with seven points from seven rounds won the U-19 Open Chess title in the Mysore District Chess Association’s (MDCA) Chess Tournament held at the University Gymnasium Hall here yesterday. Hemadri Satish with six points finished second while V. Avinash with 5.5 points secured third place.

U-19 Open: 1. Prasiddhi Bhat (7 pts), 2. Hemadri Satish (6 pts), 3. V. Avinash (5.5-22.75), 4. M.G. Prameeth (5.5-22.50), 5. J. Sandeep (5.5-21.75), 6. M.U. Thejas (5-19.50).

Boys — U-14: 1. Pritham S. Rao (5-28), 2. N. Aditya (5-27), 3. M.H. Akash (5-26.5); U-10: 1. Nivaan Raghavendra (5-27), 2. Aarush S. Gowda (4.5-30.5), 3. R. Hruthvick (4.5-28.5); U-7: 1. P. Lekhan (4-18), 2. R. Shreyas (3), 3. Hari Kishan (2).
