Mysuru: Following students of The Orchids Public School and PU College, Bogadi Road, Kumarabeedu, have secured prizes in various competitions:

Riya Ganesh of Class IX secured second prize defeating the other 27 participants from different schools across Mysuru, at  the Elocution Competition held at Mysore West Lions Sevaniketan School.

Disha A. Gowda of Class IX and K. Akash of Class X, bagged 1st and 3rd prizes respectively in the Inter-School Science PPT Competition held at Sri Adichunchanagiri Central School.  Disha in Bio category and Akash in physics category. There were 17 schools in each category.

R. Vishal and V. Bharath Kumar of   I PUC stood 4th in the “Beragu” Science Fair organised by the Department of PU, Karnataka. There were more than 60 science models in the contest.
