Wins two gold medals at State Masters Athletics Meet

Mysore/Mysuru: Mysore Athletics Club Secretary Madappa Yogendra has won two Gold Medals in 5,000 mtrs and 10,000 mts (60+) running race in the 43rd Karnataka State Masters Athletics Championship held at Sri B. Channabyre Gowda Stadium in Hosakote on Jan. 6 and 7.

The medals were given away by Chief Athletics Technical Officials Anjaneya, Ajeya and Income Tax Officer Mahadevaiah.

Yogendra has been selected to represent Karnataka State in the forthcoming National Masters Athletics Championship to be held at Pune in February.
