WIPRO employees seek reopening of factory

Mysuru: About 100 employees of WIPRO lighting division in Hootagalli industrial area staged a protest in front of the DC’s office here this morning under the aegis of All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC), Mysuru District Committee, urging the authorities concerned to reopen the factory which has been abruptly closed from July 10. They urged the DC to intervene and get the factory re-opened. They later submitted a memorandum to DC.
