Mysuru: A 27-year-old woman, said to be depressed in life, committed suicide by hanging self in Nazarbad Police limits on Saturday night.

The deceased has been identified as Shobha, wife of Raghunaikar. Shobha was an employee of a Silk Saree showroom in city. A native of Gangada Hosahalli in H.D. Kote taluk, Shobha had married Raghunaikar eight years ago.

Nazarbad Police, who rushed to the spot on Sunday morning, conducted mahazar and have   registered a case.
