Mysuru:  A 28-year-old employee of the Government Ayurveda College committed suicide by hanging self at her house in Srirampura yesterday.

The deceased is Lakshmi, wife of late Manjunath of Srirampura.

Manjunath was working as a ‘D’ Group employee at the College and passed away while still in service. 

Following Manjunath’s death, Lakshmi was given the Second Division Assistant’s job on compassionate grounds.

Kuvempunagar Inspector Raju and staff, who rushed to the spot, conducted mahazar besides registering a case.
