Woman dies after falling from bus

M.M. Hills: A woman died after falling from a moving KSRTC bus at the 25th bend between Male Mahadeshwara Hills (M.M. Hills) and Talbetta recently.

The deceased has been identified as Vinoda (45), wife of Raju, a resident of Karadakere village in Maddur taluk, Mandya. Vinoda, along with her husband, who had come to M.M. Hills had the darshan of the deity and was returning to their village in the KSRTC bus (KA-57-3968), with Vinoda sitting opposite to the door.  When the bus took a sharp turn on the 25th bend, Vinoda slipped from her seat and hit the door, which opened. Vinoda fell from the moving bus on the road and died. A case has been registered at M.M. Hills Police Station.
