Mysore/Mysuru: A 22-year-old woman committed suicide by hanging self at her residence in city on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as Monisha, a native of Nelamangala. She was married to Nanjangud ITC factory employee Madhusudan, two years ago and the couple were residing at Manchegowdanakoppal in city.

The reason for Monisha to the take the extreme step is not known. Hebbal Police who have registered a case are investigating.
