Kollegal: A car, which went out of control, ploughed into a house injuring a woman and causing damage to the house. The incident took place at Saragur village in the taluk yesterday.

While the injured woman has been identified as Rathnamma, the compound wall of the house belonging to one Gavisiddanayaka has been damaged.

One Pratap and his friends were proceeding towards Kollegal from Bengaluru in the car (KA-51-MC-0818). When they were proceeding in Saragur village at about 1 pm yesterday, the man behind the wheels of the car lost control of the vehicle, which rammed into the compound wall of the house which is about 60 ft. away from the road.

Rathnamma, who was washing clothes inside the compound sustained injuries as the compound wall fell on her.

Police personnel rushed to the spot and conducted an inspection.  No complaint has been lodged in this regard.
