Maddur: A 54-year-old woman died in an accident after the two-wheeler she was travelling was hit by an unidentified vehicle in Maddur, this morning. The deceased has been identified as Sudha, wife of Thimmaiah and a resident of Teachers Layout.

The Police said that the incident took place at 5 this morning when she was heading towards Madduramma Temple to perform special amavasya puja. Maddur Traffic Police have registered a case and are investigating.
