Mysuru: A woman, who had left the ignition key in her scooter and went to purchase flowers returned after sometime, only to find her purse containing valuables kept in the scooter dicky stolen. The incident took place in Devaraja Police limits in city on Thursday. 

The woman, who wanted to buy flowers, parked her scooter on Sayyaji Rao Road and went inside Devaraja Market. In her hurry, she left her scooter keys in the vehicle itself. When she returned, she found that key was left in the scooter itself and to her shock, after opening the scooter dicky, she found the purse containing a pair of gold earrings, cash and Debit Card stolen. 

The woman then approached the jurisdictional Devaraja Police Station and lodged an oral complaint. Following which the Cops assured of visiting the spot and check CCTV footage for clues.  

The Police have urged vehicle owners not to be negligent and ensure that the vehicles are properly locked after parking the vehicles.
