Woman loses gold jewellery in city bus

Mysuru: A woman, who was travelling in a City Bus from City Bus Stand to Shakthinagar, has lost her gold jewellery worth about  Rs.1.6 lakh, which she had kept in her vanity bag.

The woman, who lost her gold ornaments, is Geetha. 

On July 29, Geetha boarded the bus at City Bus Stand and alighted from the bus at BSNL bus stop in JSS Layout. When she examined her vanity bag, she found 24 grams Jomale (a traditional gold ornament of Kodavas), 20 grams gold chain and 8 grams necklace, all worth about Rs.1.6 lakh, which she had kept in the vanity bag missing and immediately lodged a complaint at Udayagiri Police Station.

Udayagiri Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
