Woman loses Rs. 1.65 lakh cash in KSRTC bus

Nanjangud: Miscreants have stolen Rs. 1.65 lakh cash from a vanity bag of a woman travelling in a KSRTC bus between Nanjangud and Mysuru on Jan. 23. The woman, who lost her money, is 47-year-old Bhagyalakshmi, a resident of Kempegowda Layout in the town.

Bhagyalakshmi, who had to pay her son’s college fee, kept the cash in her vanity bag and boarded the KSRTC bus (KA-01-F-0380) to Mysuru at Hullahalli Circle at about 6.15 pm.

The miscreants have stolen the cash from her vanity bag when the bus was proceeding near Kadakola.

A case has been registered at Nanjangud Town Police Station.
