Woman robbed of gold chain

Mysuru: Miscreants have snatched a gold chain of a woman near Dufferin Clock Tower on Aug.8.

The woman, who lost her 18 grams gold chain, is Puttamma, a ‘D’ Group employee at Maharaja’s High School.

Puttamma, after finishing her work, was walking near Dufferin Clock Tower to go  to Devaraja Market to purchase vegetables, when miscreants, who came from behind, yanked off her gold chain and fled from the spot.

Devaraja Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
