Woman’s chain snatched while alighting from bus

Mysuru: A miscreant has snatched a gold chain of a woman, who was alighting from a bus at City Bus Stand on Wednesday.

The woman, identified as Jayamma, came from Chamarajanagar in train and after alighting from the train at the Railway Station, she boarded a bus to City Bus Stand.

After the bus stopped at the City Bus Stand, Jayamma was getting down from the bus when an unidentified woman snatched her 22 gram gold chain worth about Rs. 48,000 and fled from the spot.

A complaint has been registered at Devaraja Police Station in this regard.
