Woman’s gold chain snatched at R.K. Nagar

Mysuru: A bike-borne miscreant has snatched a gold mangalya chain from a woman at Ramakrishna (R.K.) Nagar on Friday. The victim is Parvathi, a resident of E&F Block in R.K. Nagar.

On Jan. 10 at about 4 pm, Parvathi, who had gone to a shop, was returning home and when she was walking on the cross road near Ruby Bakery, a bike-borne miscreant, who came from the opposite direction, yanked off her 40 grams gold mangalya chain worth about Rs.1.2 lakh and sped away, according to the complaint lodged at Kuvempunagar Police Station by Parvathi.

Kuvempunagar Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
