Inspiring performances by C. Prathyusha (71, 13×4) skipper and Mysuru girl K. Rakshitha (58, 5×4) in batting and Sahana S. Pawar (4/20) in bowling helped Karnataka to register a facile 83-runs win over Himachal Pradesh in the Round II, Elite Group A & B Women’s Senior One-Day Tournament played at Indira Gandhi Stadium here recently.

Batting first, Karnataka scored 235/8 in 50 overs. C. Prathyusha (71) and skipper K. Rakshitha (58) from Mysuru added 117-runs for the fourth wicket. In reply, Himachal Pradesh were restricted to 152/9 in 50 overs. Chitra Singh Jamwal top scored with 43 runs. Sahana S. Pawar impressed for Karnataka by taking 4/20.
