Women’s U-23 One-Day Trophy: Karnataka wins by 8 wickets

Helped by good performances by Vrinda (80 n.o) and Mysuru girl S. Shubha (42), Karnataka registered a well-earned eight-wicket win over Bengal in the Round X Plate, Women’s U-23 One-Day Trophy match played at Mulapadu on Thursday.

Scores: Bengal – 170 in 48.5 overs (Ankita Chakraborty 56, Dhara Gujjar 36, Tithi Das 25, Aditi Rajesh 4/14) lost to Karnataka 173/2 in 41.4 overs (D.Vrinda 80 n.o, S.Subha 42, Niki Prasad 39 n.o).
