Workshop on Interpersonal Skills and Working in Teams

Mysuru -JSS Centre for Management Studies (JSS CMS), Department of Management Studies, Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE), JSS Science and Technology University, Mysuru, had organised a one-day workshop on “Interpersonal Skills and Working in Teams” at JSS CMS on Apr. 10.

Vijay Anand, Director, Talkmaster, Bengaluru, inaugurated the workshop. Speaking on the occasion, he said that students  need to upgrade the soft skills and develop the right attitude to meet the contemporary needs of corporates.

Dr. K. S. Lokesh, Registrar, JSS Science and Technology University, who presided, emphasised the importance of Interpersonal Skills and Working in Teams. He called upon the young minds to make use of workshop to enhance the emotional intelligence and to shape the behavioural science knowledge.  He also said that students must practice the appropriate manner of being emotionally intelligent, assertive and working in teams.

The workshop helped the participants to understand the role of interpersonal skills, communicate in teams, thoughts, needs and feelings in a direct, honest and appropriate manner.  Dr. P. Nagesh, Professor and HoD, presented the objectives and need of the workshop. Sridevi Kulenur, Assistant Professor, coordinated the workshop.
