Workshop on ancient Indian art forms concludes

Guru Krishna Prathap Gurukkal (Founder and Chief Instructor of Parashurama Vallabhatta Kalari Academy, Bengaluru), Karthik Upamanyu (folk and theatre artiste and Founder of Neralu) and Asha Prasad (an acclaimed traditional artiste), who were felicitated during the valedictory of a month-long workshop series on ancient Indian art forms, including Kalaripayattu, Kamsale and Mysore Traditional Painting, at Champaka Academy in Ramakrishnanagar, are seen with Champaka Academy Founder Dr. Nagalakshmi Nagarajan, BSS Vidyodaya Hon. Secretary R. Vasudev Bhat and Champaka Academy Trustee Nagarajan Srinivasan. On the occasion, over 50 participants, including students, professionals and home-makers, presented a vibrant showcase of the art forms they had learned during the workshop.
