World Book Day celebrated

Mysore/Mysuru: The Department of  Public Libraries celebrated World Book Day by organising book expos at all its libraries in city and district on Friday.

In Mysuru City, the day was celebrated at the City Central Library on Sayyaji Rao Road,  Kuvempu Gnana Thana service centre and at libraries in Vivekanandanagar, Jayalakshmipuram, J.P. Nagar, Hebbal, Niveditha nagar, Chamundipuram,  Ashokapuram, Jayanagar, Saraswathipuram, Ramakrishnanagar, Siddarthanagar, P.K. Sanatorium and Lalitha Mahal Nagar.

In the district, the Day was celebrated by organising book expos at T. Narasipur, Bannur, Saragur, Nanjangud, Hunsur and H.D. Kote libraries.
