A distance board put up at Jockey Quarters Circle to provide information about distances between Mysuru and other places is showing the distance of Somanathapura from Mysuru as 142 kms when the distance is about 50 kms. Authorities concerned are urged to rectify the error and provide correct information to the public, especially tourists.
