Yaduveer Wadiyar performs special puja at Kote Maramma Temple

Mysuru: In the context of being blessed with a child, Yaduveer Wadiyar offered special puja at Kote Maramma Temple near Gun House here yesterday by performing Abhisheka on the deity with milk, curd and tender coconut water.

Yaduveer was accompanied by his wife Trishika Kumari Wadiyar along with their child. Kote Maramma Temple is abutting Mysore Palace and going by the tradition, members of Mysuru Royal family were performing puja at the said Temple.

Speaking to press persons, Yaduveer said that after many years, a male child is born in Yadu dynasty, thanks to the blessings of the Almighty. He hence said that the puja was performed to Kote Maramma being the deity worshipped by the Yadu dynasty. He wished peace and prosperity for all the people.
