Yajaman Chikkanna (85), former Director of Vidyavardhaka Trust, proprietor of Olympia Military Hotel and a resident of Kumbarakoppal, passed away following age-related illness in city yesterday.

He leaves behind his wife Lakshmamma, sons Cheluvegowda (former President of JK Tyres Vokkaligara Sangha) and Ravi, brother former Corporator K.T. Cheluvegowda and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at Kumbarakoppal Burial Grounds this morning.
