Shreshta Shankar also receives her first degree black belt in Kickboxing
Shreshta Shankar from ASD Fight Club, Mysuru, represented India in 2nd WAKO Indian Open International Kickboxing Championship-2022 from Nov. 2 to 6 at Talkatora Indoor Stadium, New Delhi and has won bronze medal in the Championship.
She also received her First Degree Black Belt from Chairman of WAKO World Technical Committee Romeo Desa and President of WAKO India Santosh Kumar Agarwal during the event.
More than 800 Kickboxers from over 6 countries like Jordan, Korea, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, participated in this five-day Championship.
The nine-year-old Shreshta is the daughter of Harsha Shankar, Founder and Head Coach of ASD Fight Club and Pooja Harsha, General Secretary of WAKO Karnataka.
She is a Grade 3 student at St. Lawrence International School and has been practicing Kickboxing since she was three-year-old in ASD Fight Club under Coach, also her father, Harsha Shankar.
She has participated in many District, State and National Kickboxing Championships and has won many medals for Karnataka.
