Mysuru: Udayagiri Police have arrested a youth, who had gone absconding after sexually harassing a girl in city. The accused has been identified as 23-year-old Javeed Pasha, a resident of Udayagiri in city.

It is reported that the youth, who had promised to marry the girl had sexually harassed her and later refused to marry her before absconding.

The girl then lodged a complaint with Udayagiri Police, following which the cops took up the investigations and arrested Javeed on Tuesday.

The accused was produced before a Court, which remanded him to judicial custody.
