Mysore/Mysuru: A 21-year-old youth died after falling from his bike at Nanjangud-Utthanahalli Road junction here on Tuesday night.

The deceased youth is Soma, son of Nanjundaiah and a resident of Gundurao Nagar in city.

Soma, who was working in the APMC Yard at Bandipalya, was proceeding towards Gundurao Nagar at about 11.15 pm, when he fell from the bike at Nanjangud-Utthanahalli Road junction resulting in him sustaining severe head injuries and bleeding profusely.

He breathed his last on the spot.

K.R. Traffic Police, who rushed to the spot, conducted mahazar and have registered a case.
