Youth drowns in KRS backwaters

In a tragic incident, a youth who had gone to KRS backwaters along with his friends for a swim, met his watery grave on Sunday.

The deceased youth has been identified as Mohammed Issak (20), son of Abdul Karim and a resident of Rajiv Nagar 2nd Stage in city.

An employee of Sys Infotec, Issak along with his friends Sagar and Abhishek, went to KRS backwaters for swimming on Sunday. Issak, who ventured into the waters, was reportedly drowned.

His body was fished out yesterday morning, according to Yelwal Police.
