Yuvajanotsava on Nov.1

The District-level Yuvajanotsava organised by the District Administration in association with ZP, Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports, Nehru Yuva Kendra and NSS, will take place at 11 am on Nov.1 at ChamundiVihar Stadium in Nazarbad. The event will feature several competitions such as Classical Dance (Bharatanatyam, Odissi, Manipuri, Kuchupudi, Kathak), Classical instrumental Music (Sitar, Flute, Tabla, Veena and Mridanga), Harmonium and  Guitar, Vocal Music (Karnatak and Hindustani), Extempore speech (Hindi and English), Mono-acting, Folk songs and Folk dance.

Youths (boys and girls) in the age group of 15 to 29 years can take part in the events. Youths and students from schools and colleges and members of Youth organisations (Yuvaka and YuvathiMandalis)can participate in the contests.Toppers at this District-level meet will become eligible to take part in the State-level Yuvajanotsava to take place later this year.
