Zoo animals adopted

The following individuals / institutions have adopted the animals of Mysuru Zoo under “Adoption of Animals” scheme by paying the annual adoption fee: Indira Venkatraman, Mysuru – Nilgiri Langur & Common Ostrich (Rs. 20,000); Krishna Anand S/o Indira Venkatraman, Mysuru, Nilgiri Langur & Common Ostrich – (Rs. 20,000); A.C. Sekhar, Mysuru – Love Bird (Rs.1,000); Mahesh A. Talwar, Mysuru – Peacock (Rs.3,500); Chirasvi Kavi, Mysuru – Love Bird (Rs.1,000); Maheshwaran Calavai, Bengaluru – South American Tapir (Rs.15,000) and B.S. Roopa Chandrashekar, Bengaluru – King Cobra (Rs.3,500), according to a press release from Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens Executive Director.
