Defending champion Rovers FC registered a 2-0 win over Soniya FC in the super-league tie of the MDFA ‘A’ Division league for the Achutharao Memorial Trophy 2016-17, played at the University Grounds here yesterday.

Result: Rovers FC 2 ( Prasad 14, Vignesh 16) bt Soniya FC 0.
