Prez poll: Notification issued

New Delhi: The Election Commission of India this morning issued notification for the process of electing the 14th President of India.

With the notification announced, filing of nomination papers for the July 17 Presidential Polls has also begun. The filing of nomination papers will be held till June 28. Scrutiny of nomination will be held on June 29 and the last date for withdrawal of nomination is July 1.

The polling will be held on July 17 between 10 am and 5 pm and counting of votes will be taken up on July 20.
