SSLC, PUC results likely by May 10

April 13, 2017

Bengaluru – The SSLC and PUC results are likely to be announced by May 10, according to Primary and Secondary Education Minister Tanveer Sait.

Speaking to press persons here yesterday, Sait said that the CET for admission to professional colleges will be held on May 6 and 7 and the All India NEET exam for admission to medical courses will take place on May 8 and 9.

As the announcement of SSLC and PUC results ahead of these exams is bound to make an impact on children, the State government is likely to announce the results after these exams on May 10, he said and added that all measures have been taken for error-free results.

SSLC exams conducted by Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) concluded on Wednesday with the Social Science paper. About 8.77 lakh students across the State wrote the examinations which began on March 30.

Yashoda Bopanna, Director, KSEEB, said that the model answers and scheme of evaluation have been uploaded on the website of KSEEB (www.kseeb.kar.nic.in). Students can submit any objections they have to the same, by 6 pm on April 14.

The SSLC evaluation is set to begin on April 20 in 225 centres across Karnataka. As many 68,567 evaluators have been assigned for the task. “This year, since the answer booklet and question paper are separate, evaluators may need some time in the beginning to get used to it. We are not yet sure how many days it will take for the evaluation to complete,” Yashoda said.

Meanwhile, the II PUC evaluation is in progress at various centres in the State.
