10 held for gambling

Mysore/Mysuru: The City Crime Branch (CCB) Police, who raided a coconut farm at BEML Layout (Rajarajeshwarinagar) 2nd Stage, have taken 10 persons into custody for indulging in gambling and have seized Rs. 1,73,600 cash which was in stake and playing cards from them.

Those who had indulged in gambling were: 31-year-old Shivaraja, 41-year-old Jagadish, 30-year-old Somashankar, 39-year-old Ravikumar and 20-year-old Dakshith of Jayanagar, 29-year-old Nagasundar of J.P. Nagar, 38-year-old Raghukumar and 40-year-old Nagaraju of Manjunathapura in Gokulam 4th Stage, 59-year-old Madhusudhan of Hebbal 1st Stage and 38-year-old Ravi of T.K. Layout in city.

A case has been registered at Saraswathipuram Police Station.
